WEDDING FLOWERS

The day before the wedding, our garage was transformed into a makeshift florist shop. Pillowy hydrangeas, friendly alstroemeria, rustic Queen Anne's Lace, and four light, romantic shades of rose were all trucked in, trimmed, and arranged into vases (over forty!), bouquets, and boutonni√®res.

The ground was covered in stem trimmings, crushed petals, and stripped leaves. The air smelled sweet and dreamy and green - it was like being lost in a lady forest. Yet another reminder to treat myself to fresh flowers more often.
